Volunteers Create a New Garden.
New wild space created by a team of volunteers over the summer.
Following the conclusion of our Wilder Schools project involving Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, a trust project - organised by our community pioneers Liz Garrity and Suzanne Richards - has been completed to develop a wild garden space at Glebe. A team of volunteers from numerous organisations attended to build, paint and dig to create the new space. Thanks to their efforts, we now have new planters, a greenhouse, a polytunnel and beautiful new lighting for the surrounding area. The back of school has had a makeover and new resources placed in the bug hotel to give it a revamp. A huge thank you to the local Fenton Co-op Store, the Fenton Charlotte (PCSO for Staffordshire Police) The Co-op Academies Community Team, Glebe staff and companies such as Challenge TRG and GXO for your support on the day. Pictures of the project can be viewed by clicking the link below. The project continues in October whereby a vegetable garden and other areas of school will be developed. Watch this space!
