The school was in for a sporting treat on Monday, when Olympic silver medallist, Adam Burgess, paid us a visit.  Adam won the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the challenging sport of Canoe Slalom.  The children learnt a lesson or two in resilience, dedication and self-discipline as Adam shared his inspiring story about successes and failures, along with the importance of punctuality! 

As a special treat, Adam also brought along his winning canoe and amazingly his silver medal.   It was a true lesson in following your dreams and working hard to achieve your goals.
