To enrich their learning on Roman Britain, year 4 had the opportunity to visit a 2000 year old Roman ruin in Wroxeter this week.  They explored the ruins with a tour guide, who explained how the city was built following the Roman victory over the native Cornovii tribe.  The children made Roman coins and also explored a Roman villa to find out what life would have been like in Roman Britain. 

It was a chilly but fabulous day with lots of memories made.
