Year three have become budding ornithologists and structural engineers this week for British Science Week! They have been investigating how birds build their nests and planning and constructing their own based on their own formulated success criteria. They even tested them by adding baby chicks and adding weather conditions (a very blowy hairdryer) to see if the birds stayed safe. They soon sorted the wrens from the pigeons
