The year six classroom became 'The Shire' today, when the children were treated to their half-termly memorable experience.  They had a special dress up day and the costumes were very impressive, particularly the ears.  They learnt to write in elvish, created dragon eye clay sculptures and wrote riddles fit to bamboozle Gollum himself!
